Riders will be grouped based on experience with 2 hour small group lessons (no more than 4 riders per group). Private lessons may be arranged depending on the number of clinic participants ($75/hour).
For those with no prior WE experience this clinic will introduce you to three of the four phases, Dressage, Ease of Handling (EOH) and Speed, (no cow sorting phase), with the focus on EOH, basic rules, description of obstacles, course set up, objective of each obstacle and how to ride each one. A short non-mounted session will take place prior to riding.
Riders who have prior WE experience will be coached at the level they are working at and be taken through exercises appropriate for their level. Riders will be challenged with course navigation and rules questions, and learn about competition strategies.
Cost:
$125 per rider/horse. Auditors- $15
NEWE members may audit at no charge.
Limited to 12 riders total.
