This Introduction to Working Equitation clinic taught without horses. We’ve found this is the best way to teach riders about the 4 phases of Working Equitation: 1)Dressage, 2)Ease of Handling (obstacles), 3)Speed (obstacles) and 4) Cattle. The clinic will focus on the rules and requirements of each phase. We will have a regulation course set and walk each obstacle to discuss requirements for each. Once we’ve reviewed all the obstacles and rules, we’ll put it to the test with an actual course walk to discuss strategies. If time permits we will also provide a demo ride of the course. Space is limited so pre-registration is required. Cost is $40 for the day.
