Experience the Thrill of Working Equitation

USAWE 2024 Western Zone Championship

Join us for an unforgettable event celebrating the skill, precision, and elegance of Working Equitation. Witness top competitors from across the Western Zone and beyond as they showcase their talents in this prestigious championship.

This event promises thrilling competitions, including dressage, ease of handling, speed, and cow trials. Don’t miss the chance to see top riders and horses in action, and enjoy a weekend full of equestrian excellence.

All current USAWE members are eligible to compete in a championship show. A horse-rider combination must earn a combined average of 58% or higher in Dressage and EOH (L1-L7) and successfully complete the Speed trial (L2-L7) at a minimum of two USAWE licensed shows to qualify to compete in a championship show.

For the 2024 competition year, the qualifying period is January 1, 2023, through the show entry deadline in 2024.

At least one of the qualifying scores must be earned during the current competition year.

Qualifying scores must have been earned at the level being entered.

Entry Info

Entries are open again!  However, we are nearly at capacity, even though we’ve added an additional judge panel AND an additional day of competition.

    • Entries received prior to July 15th will receive the full array of 2024 Western Zone Swag (including a Western Zone Competitor shirt & commemorative coaster).
    • Entries received after this date may miss out on these special commemorative gifts due to the time required to create them.
