Hello to everyone in Region 1!
I’m excited to announce Idaho has another Affiliate Organization to help promote Working Equitation in Southern Idaho! Welcome to USAWE, Working Equitation – Idaho Oregon Trail!
About Working Equitation – Idaho Oregon Trail
Our Affiliate Organization is devoted to offering holistic training courses emphasizing balance through historical high-school dressage training, and historical mounted military exercises, such as lance and sword drills, negotiating obstacles, and horseback archery. We are devoted to preserving historical horsemanship.
Our mother organization is a non-profit charitable organization, since 2003, and it is devoted to helping special needs individuals and their families heal through equine assisted activities and therapies.
Adaptive WE activities have always been part of this special needs riding program throughout its history. Our mother organization is Students and Horses Excel, also known with the IRS as SHE, Inc.
Our first Clinic/schooling show is October 2-3, 2021 with Cari Schwartz as clinician and judge.
We are devoted to making our location a hub for WE events in Southern Idaho.
I will be adding a Facebook Event page to the existing SHE facebook pages. The clinic/schooling show registration page will be available there as well.
