REGION 6
By: Cera Olson — Region 6 Director
2024 has been an incredible year! We saw so much growth across the region this year. We had a very successful season culminating in a very successful Zone Championships. I look forward to continuing to work with our members in order to build a more cohesive Region. There are so many awesome activities coming in this year. There are some exciting rule changes for the new year, ones that have been requested for awhile. We are working on offering more cattle opportunities, some great clinics in the New Year, and we already have the R6 and R7 Eastern Regional Championships scheduled. Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or feedback. We want to try to meet the needs of all our members. Please talk with your local AOs for more information on the events they have planned for 2025!
If you schedule any events, please reach out to Barb Sullivan at Oak Spring Equestrian. Barb has graciously volunteered to keep a calendar of events for our Region. Go to her page to stay up to date on all the upcoming activities.

KDCTA
KDCTA hosted two obstacle practice days this summer. Club members ride for free. We always have a good turn out for these events with 10-15 riders. KDCTA also hosts two WE Schooling shows each year. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the summer show. The fall show had good entry turnout. We plan to continue the same for next year and continue to increase awareness of the sport in our area.
EPAWE
EPAWE wrapped up the 2024 Working Equitation season with a Clinic 12/7/24 with Amie Perryman. riders received personalized instruction in a group setting with lots of tips to work on throughout the winter. 2025 planning has begun with a return of the virtual education series with S Judge, Polly Limond. These sessions are included in the 2025 EPAWE membership. We will have a member meeting in January, February play day, March Clinic, April fix a test/clinic all preparing for our May 16–17 Schooling/license shows!
