Hello, Region 7!
The show season is almost upon us. We have a record number of licensed competitions scheduled for 2024, with others being considered. Show managers and their committees volunteer hundreds of hours to plan their shows for the benefit of the competitors. It’s up to us all to support and participate in these events to keep our sport alive and growing in the region. If you’re not riding, offer your time as an event volunteer, the show staff will be very grateful. The current calendar includes:
May 17-19 – Three Bulls Classic
• Three Bulls Farm, 625 Beech Grove Road, Bulls Gap, TN
• Levels 1-7/ Optional cattle trial offered
• Polly Limond, USAWE “S” Judge (NC)
• Entries are open and the Prize List can be found at www.ThreeBullsFarm.com
June 8-9 – Working Equitation of North Carolina Summer Solstice
• Foothills Equestrian Nature Center, 3381 Hunting Country Road, Tryon, NC
• Levels 1-7
• Rebecca Algar, USAWE “S” Judge (FL)
• Entries are open and email WorkingEqNC@gmail.com if you need a Prize List
August 24-25: Two 1-day shows hosted by Wild at Heart Ranch
• Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center, 1855 Calvary Church Road, Gainesville, GA
• Levels 1-7
