More than your average schooling show!
The Midwest Horse Fair has chosen to spotlight our sport of Working Equitation in the 2025 fair in Madison on April 11th, 12th, and 13th. This annual event is the largest three-day equine fair in the US which makes it an optimal opportunity for Region 5 USAWE members to come together to showcase, represent, and support Working Equitation to the Upper Midwest region.
Ten Level 5, 6, & 7 WE riders from any region will be selected to compete for first, second, and third-place awards in this challenge. Contestants will be spotlighted individually prior to the event and featured with their horses there at the fair. The public will get to meet these advanced WE riders in person and watch them compete over three days for the top prize.
As a part of the entry, contestants and their horses will be well represented in person in the Working Equitation performance aisle, and receive professional photos and video of each of the trials.
On Thursday prior to the fair, the contestants will have private arena time to introduce themselves and their horses and demonstrate or share something significant. A time to get to know each other, and celebrate the occasion!
