The Professional Development Committee held it’s quarterly Zoom meeting for Professional Instructors on September 21. USAWE “S” Judge Polly Limond was the guest speaker and played videos of riders negotiating obstacles while giving Professional Instructors the opportunity to critique and discuss what their lesson plan would be for each horse and rider. It was a very informative and educational format to help train the eye of our PI’s and to discuss with Polly what she was seeing from a judges perspective. 

 

Congratulations to the Professional Instructors who competed at the USAWE 2024 Zone Championship Shows. At the Western Zone Show was Laura Stuteman (R1), Kimberlee Barker (R1), Trisha Kiefer-Reed (R1), and Susan Watkins (R2).  Competing at the Eastern Championship Show was Erica Peet (R5), Rose Watt (R6), Stephanie Hayes (R6), Holly Linz (R6), and Jody Fontanetta (R7).
