Professional Development Committee
Professional Instructors from each region have been busy teaching clinics, competing, and being an integral part of educating riders of all levels throughout the 2024 season. Behind the scenes, the Pro Dev Committee has been working together to create and announce two mission statements as well as streamlining the application process. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MISSION STATEMENT: The Professional Development Committee educates, evaluates, and recognizes professionals who are members in good standing and residing in the USA. The committee shall be responsible for developing and providing programs to promote and educate WE professionals of the highest quality.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE’S PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT: The USAWE Professional Instructor Program will evaluate and recognize riding instructors that meet and exceed USAWE and industry standards. The program will provide educational opportunities, training, and support to elevate the standards of instruction excellence and contribute positively to the advancement of Working Equitation education with integrity and respect for both horses and riders across all levels.
