The Licensed Officials Committee (LOC) welcomed several Licensed Officials to a special calibration session in Thousand Oaks with WAWE Judge, Jose Benito and S Judge, Doreen Atkinson, July 5 – 7.  After full days of silent judging, Jose and Doreen reviewed scores and discussed judging theory with the judges.  The time spent discussing working equitation and the details of judging movements was invaluable.

This event was brought together by a collaboration between the LOC, the International Committee and the Professional Development Committee.  Education is the core of USAWE and with this collaboration, we were able to extend Jose Benito’s time in the US to conduct a Train to Win clinic with discounted rates offered to USAWE Professional Instructors as part of their commitment to continuing education.

Whether you are a Licensed Official, thinking about being one, an instructor, a competitor or anything in between, consider attending one of our upcoming sessions.  Details on attending can be found by scrolling down on the home page or USAWE.org.
