USAWE International Committee
The International Committee is very pleased that the USAWE Board of Directors unanimously (of directors present) approved the IC’s updated strategic direction and recommendations at their October board meeting.
The key differences going forward are two-fold: An enhanced focus on high performance riders (Advanced and Masters levels) in preparation for international competition in 2025 and 2026; and a more targeted approach to IC strategy and activities. In practical application, this will entail splitting the existing IC Interest Group into two parts: Those who are already competing at the Advanced/Masters levels, and those who are competing at the mid-levels with aspirations to move up levels. By splitting into these two groups, development, training and preparation initiatives can be better focused for specific needs. There will be more information coming soon on these changes. In the meantime, the IC is excited to get new programs in high gear for next year!
