USAWE 2025 WAWE QUALIFER SHOW REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

OVERVIEW:

USAWE has been granted the opportunity to hold three (3) World Association for Working Equitation (WAWE) Qualifier Shows in 2025. These WAWE Qualifier shows allow U.S. Masters Level riders to obtain qualifying scores for the WAWE World Championship in 2026.

DESCRIPTION:

The USAWE International Committee is taking applications for U.S. shows to hold a WAWE sanctioned Qualifier Show. These shows can be held in conjunction with USAWE Licensed Shows, although the WAWE portion of the show will be governed by WAWE rules and must be separate from the USAWE show. U.S. shows selected to hold a Qualifier Show may be eligible for a USAWE stipend (to be determined). Final selections must first be approved by the USAWE Board of Directors and then WAWE.

REQUIREMENTS:

The following requirements must be met in order to be considered for a WAWE Qualifier Show:

• A WAWE credentialed judge must preside
• WAWE rules must be explicitly followed
• Venue must be suitable for an international show with appropriate facilities
• The USAWE WAWE Qualifier Show application must be fully completed 

HOW TO RESPOND:

The attached application must be completed in full and returned to the USAWE International Committee prior to January 15, 2025 for consideration.
