IMPORTANT! 

The Horse Recording committee is making two requests of our USAWE members: 

1. The committee is working on the database to clear up some inconsistencies. To this point, we are going through all the horses/ponies that list a breed, but do not list a registry or registry number, and changing the breed to “Grade”. If your horse is listed with a breed with no registry/number, but they are indeed registered, it is imperative that you submit the registry information to horserecording@usawe.org before the first of the year. If we do not receive verification by then, the recording will be changed to “Grade”.

2. The Breed Awards will be coming out in the first part of the new year and we need some clarification. We have a very generous sponsor that supports the ponies of our sport. They offer a champion award for each Region and then a Grand Champion overall. What we need is for ALL members with ponies to contact the Horse Recordings to let us know that your equine is indeed a pony. All you need to do is email us at horserecording@usawe.org with your pony’s name and recording number and we will take care of the rest.
