Dia de Los Muertos Schooling Show
Broken Bit Ranch is hosting their annual Dia de Los Muertos Working Equitation Schooling Show on October 28 & 29, 2023. We are excited to have USAWE licensed judge Sarah Pinney, “r”, returning as our officiant for the 3rd year in a row! This show is for levels 1 thru 3, with Champion buckles awarded to both Intro and combined Novice divisions. Dressage test will be held on Saturday with EOH & Speed classes on Sunday. There will also be an award for the “Best Dia de Los Muertos dressed”. During the event a food drive and a raffle is held to benefit our local food pantries of the Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon & Storey counties. Last year over 200# of canned and boxed food were collected and the raffle earned a tidy sum of $275 to help make the holidays a little brighter for those that might need a helping hand.
Entry fee for the show is $100. Show is limited to 36 riders. Limited stabling is available @ $45 for the weekend (3 nights). Dry camping is free.
