IL: FVSA Intensive WE Clinic

Spend two days receiving high-quality instruction at the gorgeous Fox Valley Saddle Association in Hampshire, IL and then dive into the two licensed WE shows on the weekend!

The clinic will include dressage and obstacle instruction, providing plenty of opportunity to hone your skills in preparation for the competitions to come.

No prior WE experience necessary!

Thursday – for those new to WE. Entry fee: $30
If you participate in Thurday’s clinic, you are encouraged to stay over and continue your education by watching the clinic rides on Friday. We’ll have some additional obstacles set up out of the lesson area to allow you to continue to school on Friday.
Friday – anyone who has shown in WE in the past. Entry fee: $75 
Clinic stall fees (Thursday and/or Friday): $35/day

Show Entry Fee: $300 to participate in one show; $400 to participate in both shows. This covers your stall (Friday 3 pm – Sunday, end of show), your entry fee, and lunch for one on each day you are signed up to participate. (meals will be available for purchase for family/friends as well). If you’re coming earlier on Friday, we’ll need to charge you an additional $35 to add the stall during the day.

Youth rider sponsorship, sponsored by Working Equitation Oregon – $100 off youth entries if entering both shows!

Tack Stall During Show Weekend: $100

Just-for-fun Leadline modified Ease of Handling: $10 (suitable for young horses or riders who are not yet ready to go it alone).

Camping spots with electrical hookups are available on site for an additional charge of $35/day, and there is plenty of room for “dry camping” without electricity.To compete, riders must be current members of USAWE, and all horses must be recorded with USAWE. If you are participating for schooling only, this requirement is waived.

Proof of negative Coggin’s test is required for all horses entering Fox Valley. Out-of-state horses should also have a current health certificate.
