Greetings from the Awards Committee! As the competition year draws to a close, the Awards Committee is gearing up for the processing of National and Regional Awards. It is IMPERATIVE that we have correct addresses and emails for award recipients. If you have changed your address since last year, please be sure that your current address and email are on file with USAWE. Currently it is not possible for members to check the address on file themselves. However, we should be able to do that by years end with the new system that is being implemented. For members that know their address needs to be updated, please contact Kate Steffes at MembershipCommitteeChair@usawe.org. 

Coming in 2025! A “Century Award” for horse/rider pairs whose ages total one hundred or more. We want this special milestone to be recognized for those members fortunate enough to reach it. Stay tuned for more details.

Pat Melton has been busy processing Lifetime Rider Medals. She sends earned medals out quarterly. So far this year there have been 7 Pewter, 7 Bronze, 4 Silver, and 2 Platinum medals awarded! Congratulations to all medal recipients! Please be patient if you have earned a medal. Show results must be processed and the data updated, which takes some time. Julie Alonzo and Brenna Reimer have worked all year to process licensed show results and keep the Leaderboard and Lifetime Medal Tracking up to date. Mindy Finelli and Nancy Meola gathered sponsors and tracked Breed Performance all year while Amy Perryman keeps our membership up to date with social media announcements. A huge thank you to the team! They put in many hours to track the data for the entire USAWE membership. We can’t wait to see who this year’s winners will be!
