Affiliate Organization Committee November 2024 News

Affiliate Organization Committee

It has been my pleasure to serve as the Affiliate Organization Committee Chair and program coordinator since the formation of USA Working Equitation. Now, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the newly appointed Chair, Stephanie Dobiss.

Stephanie Dobiss
Beth Harrison
Stephanie is the Affiliate Organization leader of KDCTA (Keystone Dressage and Combined Training Association) in Tyrone, PA (R6) where she has been involved for over 25 years in multiple capacities. She has been very active in promoting Working Equitation through KDCTA, as well as attending the USAWE Affiliate Organization Quarterly Networking Hour meetings. She’s participated in annual AO Spring Projects resources production, and she has been a key contributor on the team working to provide greater clarity and development of the USAWE Affiliate Organization Program.

I also have the pleasure to introduce an additional appointment to the Affiliate Organizations Committee, Beth Harrison.

Beth Harrison is the founder of New York State Working Equitation in Bloomfield, NY (R6). She works collaboratively to promote Working Equitation in her area. She also has been a regular participant of the USAWE Affiliate Organization Quarterly Networking Hour meetings, and has been a key contributor on the AO program development team. She has a strong desire to support the growth and future of Working Equitation and the Affiliate Organizations and is looking forward to doing that as a committee member.

As I prepare to work on pursuing a higher education degree, I am grateful to be able to hand off the leadership of the Affiliate Organizations Committee to such capable women. I have complete confidence that they will do a great job and build a great team to support all USAWE Affiliate Organizations.

I also want to thank the other Affiliate Organization leaders and members who have played a big part in evaluating the AO program and developing a roadmap for the future. We’ve been working on this for the past six months and will be communicating the results over the next few months as they are approved by the Board of Directors.
