Train to Win Clinics

Train to Win clinics provide educational opportunities for all USAWE members as auditors. USAWE members competing in Level 5 through Level 7 are offered unique learning opportunities in Train to Win clinics which are designed to prepare them for international-level competition.

This clinic is the second of three Train To Win clinics to be held in 2024, one each within the Western, Central, and Eastern USAWE Zones.

The first Train to Win clinic was held in the Central Zone January 23-25 in Weatherford, TX. The first clinic was taught by Sr. José Andrés Benito.

The third Train To Win clinic will be held in the Eastern Zone September 6-8, 2024 at the Three Bulls facility in Bulls Gap, TN. The third clinic will be taught by Sr. Gilberto Filipe.

July 8-10, 2024

El Campeon Farms

Thousand Oaks, CA

- Riders who participate in the clinic will be expected to be familiar with the WAWE Dressage test, and to have both themselves and their horse fit enough for a demanding 50-minute lesson.
- The Train to Win Clinic #2 will be conducted from 8am-5pm, with eight lessons per day.
- Priority will be given to Western Zone riders; however, riders from outside Western Zone will be accepted if space allows.
- Riding spots are for riders currently competing at L5-L7 performance level.
- Auditing is open to any level of rider or student of Working Equitation.
- Interactive Auditors will be able to ask questions and participate in discussions with Dr. Benito.
- Silent Auditors are observers only.
- All participants (riders and auditors) must be members of USAWE. Join USAWE.

The International Committee has partnered with the Professional Development Committee to offer four (4) USAWE Professional Instructors (PIs) 50% off “Ground Crew” auditing fees at the Train To Win Clinic #2. Youth Silent Auditing is Free!

The International Committee has partnered with the Youth Development Committee and is offering USAWE Youth members (age 7-17 yrs.) FREE silent auditing of Train to Win Clinic #2 for one, two, or all three days! Use the Registration button above to sign up.
