Hello Region 2!
I’m happy to report there is an abundance of shows, clinics, schooling shows, playdays etc. on the calendar for this year already! Northern California, Southern California and Arizona have posted a lot of dates, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii… how can we help grow Working Equitation in your area?
We’re excited to announce the Region 2 Championship Show will be held October 10-12, 2025 at the Wine Country Classic show in Temecula, CA. This show has also been submitted to WAWE to serve as a qualifier show for those seeking a spot on our International Team for the WAWE World Championship in 2026! More details to come, stay tuned!
In case you missed it, we have an educational opportunity to learn about the Cattle Trial. Sign up here to attend the Cattle Trial is the foundation of our Working sport, and we hope you’ll attend a clinic, schooling opportunity or participate in the Cattle Trial if it’s offered at a show near you. Trust me, working cattle is FUN!
Once again, If you are aware of any opportunities to showcase our sport, please let me know (R2Director@usawe.org). We are looking for expos, local horse festivals, pony clubs, local riding clubs who might be interested in learning more about Working Equitation. Send in your ideas on how we can support you in spreading the word.
