Polly Limond was a dressage rider, trainer, breeder and importer in the San Diego, CA area for over 35 years. Since 2004 she has been selecting and importing sport horses from Germany for clients and for resale, and in 2018 started importing from Portugal and Spain as well. She has developed an extensive network of horse professionals in several countries, specializing in smaller size horses and sport ponies for dressage.

Polly is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist with distinction, and Silver Freestyle medalist. Having trained several horses successfully through Intermediare, she has won Regional and National Championships on self-trained horses and coached several students to regional and RAAC championships and lifetime rider medals. Polly earned her WE Bronze Medal in 2017, and her Silver Medal in 2019. In 2017 she finished in the top ten regionally on 3 different horses at 2 levels with consistent scores up to 71%. In 2018 and 2019 she competed two horses through Intermediate B with scores up to 80% and finished in the Region 2 Top Ten. She was the 2021 Region 2 Level 5 Champion on her Lusitano Ikaros da Lusitania, a horse that she selected and imported from Portugal.

Polly Limond is an S judge and a licensed TD with USAWE and is a USDF L graduate with distinction since 2007. She is a sought after clinician, and in 2021 became a member of the USAWE Professional Instructors Network. Since becoming involved with WE in 2016, Polly served on the WE United Board of Directors for four years as 2017 Region 2 Director (increasing the membership in her region by over 100 members), 2018 President Elect, 2019 President and 2020 Past President.

In April 2019, Polly organized and facilitated the 2019 US Licensed Officials Seminar in San Diego, CA with over 40 participants. In 2023 Polly co-taught the USAWE EOH Judge Seminar with WAWE judge Sr. José Andrés Benito. She was chosen by the USAWE LOC to participate in the 2023 WAWE Judge Candidate Training in Salamanca, Spain.

Polly has served as ex-officio member of the Licensed Officials Committee, co-chair of the 2019 WE United North American Championship Show Committee and was a member of the committee that developed the 2019 WE United Judge Training Program. She served on the WE Merger Board of Directors and the Merger Licensed Officials Committee to help facilitate the merger of WE United and the Confederation for Working Equitation.

Since 2021 Polly Limond has served on the USAWE S team committee to redesign the USAWE Dressage Tests, the LOC training program, the tack and attire guide, Judge Candidate Interviews, and was instrumental in developing the wording for the Purpose of the Levels, which was introduced to the rulebook in 2021. In 2022 Polly scribed for WAWE judge Fiona Price-Jones at the Western Zone Championships, and in 2023 was co-instructor at the USAWE Judge Training Seminar with WAWE Judge Sr. José Andrés Benito.
