USAWE Championship Competitions
Resources
Our Championship Competitions are more than just events—they are a celebration of achievement and dedication in Working Equitation. They honor the hard work of riders and horses, marking milestones in skill, partnership, and perseverance. Only current USAWE members are eligible to compete, ensuring that these championships reflect the excellence and commitment of our community.
To qualify, a horse-rider pair must achieve a combined average of 58% or higher in Dressage and EOH (Levels 1–7) and successfully complete the Speed trial (Levels 2–7) at two USAWE-licensed shows. Riders may also compete in multiple regions if desired.
The qualifying period runs from January 1 of the year preceding the Regional Championships through the entry deadline for the championship show. Only one score may be taken from the prior year; all other scores must be earned during the current year of the championship.
USAWE Championships recognize dedication, reward excellence, and provide an opportunity for riders and horses to shine on a regional and national stage.
