There’s still time to help Shape the Future of USAWE!
The nomination period for the 2026 USAWE election has been extended through
September 28, giving members additional time to nominate a fellow member—or
themselves—for one of this year’s open positions.
If there is someone you’ve been thinking about, now is the time to give them that little
extra nudge. And if you’ve been considering stepping forward yourself, there’s still time
to raise your hand!
You may nominate as many people as you would like, including yourself, for any
available position, except for the President, who must be a current or past member
of the Board of Directors to be nominated. A separate nomination form must be
completed for each nomination.

The new bylaws stipulate that the President nomination should be a current or past member of the Board of Directors.

Updated 2026 Election Timeline
September 28: Nominations close
October 5: Candidate statements due
October 15: Last day to join USAWE and be eligible to vote
October 15: Candidate statements posted on USAWE website and social media
November 1: Ballots distributed
November 15: Voting closes
December 1: Newly elected candidates take office
