USAWE and International Competition for Youths

The USAWE Youth High Performance Riders program is currently being defined.

The program seeks the best and most talented competitors—athletes who demonstrate not only exceptional skill and horsemanship, but also the integrity, dedication, and sportsmanship that embody the values of USAWE. Representing the United States is both an honor and a responsibility, requiring commitment, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence at the highest level of the sport.

USAWE also is dedicated to fostering the next generation of Working Equitation athletes. We are proud to support our Junior and Young Riders as they gain opportunities to compete in Europe, where they can experience international competition, build connections with peers from around the world, and represent the future of our sport. By supporting these riders today, we are helping ensure a strong and vibrant tomorrow for Working Equitation in the United States.

World Association for Working Equitation

Every four years, the World Association for Working Equitation holds a World Championship Show. The International Committee exists to identify, prepare, and support the riders who will carry our nation’s banner in the prestigious World Championship in the Netherlands in 2027 which will be held at the Hippisch Centrum Exloo, and in international competitions that follow. The exact date has not been determined.

Representing USAWE and the United States at international competitions is both an honor and a responsibility, requiring commitment, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence at the highest level of the sport. Our international riders compete among the world’s finest, showcasing the strength and spirit of Working Equitation in America. This is more than competition—it is an opportunity to inspire, to unite, and to elevate our sport on a global scale.
