SUMMARY:NV: Dia de los Muertos Working Equitation Schooling Show
DESCRIPTION:Our annual Dia de Los Muertos show is two days of exciting working equitation. Dressage trial will be held on Saturday\, then Ease of Handling and Speed competitions on Sunday. Beautiful champion buckles will be awarded to Intro and combined Novice divisions. Also on Sunday there will be a “Best Dia de los Muertos” costume competition! In conjunction with the show\, there will be a food drive\, raffle and silent auction to benefit the food pantries of the Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon & Storey counties. Last year over 200# of canned and boxed food were collected and the silent auction and raffle together earned a tidy sum of $2500! We are hoping to meet or beat this in 2024!

DESCRIPTION:Dia de Los Muertos Schooling Show \nBroken Bit Ranch is hosting their annual Dia de Los Muertos Working Equitation Schooling Show on October 28 & 29\, 2023. We are excited to have USAWE licensed judge Sarah Pinney\, “r”\, returning as our officiant for the 3rd year in a row! This show is for levels 1 thru 3\, with Champion buckles awarded to both Intro and combined Novice divisions. Dressage test will be held on Saturday with EOH & Speed classes on Sunday. There will also be an award for the “Best Dia de Los Muertos dressed”. During the event a food drive and a raffle is held to benefit our local food pantries of the Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon & Storey counties. Last year over 200# of canned and boxed food were collected and the raffle earned a tidy sum of $275 to help make the holidays a little brighter for those that might need a helping hand.  \n\nEntry fee for the show is $100. Show is limited to 36 riders. Limited stabling is available @ $45 for the weekend (3 nights). Dry camping is free.
