A graduate with distinction of the USDF “L” Judge Education Program\, Kimberlee has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals and has nearly completed her Gold.\n\nKimberlee is known for taking “non-traditional” dressage horses up the levels\, and her most recent dressage partner\, RedPrairie Storm (Dales Pony) earned the Reserve Champion placing in the Oregon Dressage Society’s 2021 State Championships in the Training Level Open Division\, as well as being the high point horse\, out of all breeds\, competing in WE in 2023. DESCRIPTION:To enter: https://forms.gle/ogFAgoaPW9wNdm6o8 \nJoin us this spring for two days of intensive learning\, followed by two one-day WE shows (which you can participate in as either a schooling ride to extend your learning from Camp or as a competitor\, to earn awards and points toward USAWE year-end and lifetime awards)\, hosted by Fox Valley Saddle Association\, an official Affiliate Organization of USAWE. \n\nNo prior Working Equitation experience necessary!\n\nOur primary goal in offering this event is to continue to grow the supportive and fun working equitation community in Region 5.\n\nWe are hoping to welcome our “old faithful” crew of regular participants AND draw in at least ten people who haven’t yet participated in our WE events at Fox Valley Saddle Association.\n\nIf you have ever thought about giving Working Equitation a try\, but were not sure how to get started\, THIS is your opportunity!\n\nIf you’re an “old faithful” who is looking forward to shaking off the cobwebs after a winter of less intensive involvement\, THIS is your opportunity!\n\nThe competitions will be licensed by USA Working Equitation\, but you can also participate as a schooling rider (no memberships needed). \nDraft Schedule  \nWednesday — Move in (ideally between 4:30 and 6 pm). 6:00 pm – Help set up obstacles in the indoor arena in preparation for Thursday.\nThursday – Small group obstacle lessons throughout the morning; Obstacle schooling in the afternoon; early evening lecture with video on judge expectations (with pizza!)\nFriday – Small group obstacle lessons throughout the morning; A focus on WE dressage in the afternoon.\nSaturday – Show #1\nSunday – Show #2\n\nCost for Camp + Show(s)\n$650 for the camp AND both days of showing (includes stabling Wednesday 4:30 PM – Sunday end of show)\n\nCost for Only Camp\n$400 for the camp alone (includes stabling Wednesday 4:30 PM – Friday 5 pm)\n\nCost for Only Show(s)\n$300 to participate in one day of showing without the camp (includes stabling the night prior to your show and the day of your show)\n$400 to participate in both days of showing (includes stabling from Friday 5 pm – Sunday end of show)\n\nTack Stall\n$25/day \nJust-for-fun Leadline modified Ease of Handling during show(s) (great for young riders and/or young horses!): $10\n\nBRING A FRIEND DISCOUNT FOR FULL CAMP & BOTH SHOWS\nRecruit a person who has never participated in a FVSA WE Show before\, and EACH of you will receive $100 discount for this event. The discount only applies for people who participate with a horse in both the Camp and both shows. You can school at the show(s) rather than compete if you’d like.\n\nCamping spots with electrical hookups are available on site for an additional charge of $30/day\, and there is plenty of room for “dry camping” without electricity. \nTo compete\, riders must be current members of USAWE\, and all horses must be recorded with USAWE. Kimberlee is a recognized Working Equitation Coach in USAWE’s Coaches Network\, has earned her USAWE Pewter\, Bronze\, Silver\, and Platinum Medals. Kimberlee is currently only the third person in the U.S. to have earned a Platinum Medal and the first to earn it with the new stricter requirements through USAWE. A graduate with distinction of the USDF “L” Judge Education Program\, Kimberlee has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals and has nearly completed her Gold.\n\nKimberlee is known for taking “non-traditional” dressage horses up the levels\, and her most recent dressage partner\, RedPrairie Storm (Dales Pony) earned the Reserve Champion placing in the Oregon Dressage Society’s 2021 State Championships in the Training Level Open Division. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 1 pm on Friday (honestly — NO EARLIER — if you arrive prior to 1 pm on Friday\, please plan to pay a ‘haul in fee’ to OHC and amuse yourself in the main facility rather than coming to the Prairie Arena). Additional bags of shavings can be purchased on site for $10/bag. \n\n\nTack Stall: $100 \n(OHC Boarders who do not need stabling can request a $100 discount because they don’t need a stall) \nPLEASE DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE SHAVINGS IN — we are charged an extra $35 per stall if any outside shavings are used. \nCamping is available on site — please make reservations directly with the Oregon Horse Center if you are planning to camp (we do not handle the camping spot reservations at all). \nTo compete\, riders must be current members of USAWE\, and all horses must be recorded with USAWE. In addition\, we’ll be offering a cattle clinic on Friday before the show.  \nThis is a great opportunity to learn more about working with cattle in a low-stress\, supportive environment. \nIf time allows\, we will hold two separately licensed competitions this weekend (you can let us know if you’re interested in a spot in just one or both competitions). \n If we are able to hold two competitions\, the plan will be to hold all dressage tests on Saturday\, as well as Show #1 EOH\, finishing with Show #2 EOH\, Speed for both shows\, and the Cattle Trial on Sunday.  \nEntry Fee: $250 for one show; $350 to enter two (if time allows); $50 for the Cattle Clinic on Friday Stabling: $25 per day (includes bedding and final cleaning when you leave)  \nCamping is available on site for $40/night with electric; $25 dry camping.  \nJudge: Kim Roe\, r\, WA  \nIMPORTANT NOTE: Refunds are only possible for illness (horse or human) with medical verification.  \nOnline entry: https://forms.gle/QBAAmGmbKPjBywvdA
