This month’s IC news is all about international shows. The Board of Directors voted earlier this month on applications for the 2025 WAWE Qualifier Shows. Three applicants/locations have been submitted to WAWE for their approval, with the fourth as an alternate. Upon approval from WAWE, the following show teams will begin planning for adding an International Qualifier to their existing shows:

Wine Country Classic Shows: October 10-12, 2025, Temecula, CA

WE Oregon: September 18-21, 2025, Eugene, OR

Working Equitation East: October 17-19, 2025, Doswell, VA

Alternate:

WEKS: November 5-8, 2025, Fort Worth, TXThe International Committee is taking applications now for the two WAWE International Shows USAWE has been granted for 2025. International Shows follow WAWE rules and tests. Competitors at these shows can earn points toward the WAWE World Ranking, but not 2026 World Championship qualifying scores.
