DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a fantastic weekend show\, complete with cattle handling clinics on Thursday and Friday and a Cattle Trial on Sunday!\n\nEnter online at: https://forms.gle/mRtjNiFNL2pXDnGBA\nThis Working Equitation competition is licensed by USA Working Equitation and will take place at the beautiful WW facility in Milton-Freewater\, Oregon (just south of Walla Walla\, WA)\, the heart of eastern Oregon/Washington’s Wine Country. In addition\, we’ll be offering a cattle clinic on Friday before the show. This is a great opportunity to learn more about working with cattle in a low-stress\, supportive environment. \nThe first 15 people who register and pay in full will have the option of competing in TWO competitions over the weeekend. After that\, opportunity to compete in both shows will depend on availability / time. \n\nAll competing riders must be members of USAWE\, and all competing horses must have a horse recording number issued by USAWE to participate. Those participating as schooling rides only do not need to be members/have horse recording numbers. \nEntry Fee: $250 for one show; $150 additional to add a second show (if spots are available); $75 per spot in the Cattle Clinic (available both Thursday and Friday)\, $50 for Cattle Trial on Sunday\nStabling: $25 per day \nBedding: $15 per bag (or wheelbarrow\, if the facility opts to provide bulk bedding)\nStall Cleaning Deposit: $75 – will be refunded within one week after the competition provided you strip your stall completely prior to departure. \nCamping is available on site for $40/night with electric; $25 dry camping. \nJudges: \nBarbara Price\, R\, CA\nTracey Erway\, r\, OR\n\nIMPORTANT NOTE:\nRefunds (less a $75 processing fee) are only possible for illness (horse or human) with medical verification.

DESCRIPTION:This Working Equitation camp will be specific to each horse/rider’s needs so it is appropriate for all levels of riders or any level of experience in WE. With two instructors you will receive a ton of personal time. Be prepared to ride! \nInstructors: Karen is Judge and Technical Delegate for the sport. She holds multiple National and Regional Championships as a competitor over the years. Mike holds multiple National and Regional Championships as a competitor and has his Silver Medal from USAWE. \nWe’ll start off your three day Working Equitation intensive with the Dressage Phase where we will run through the appropriate tests and movements. We will provide riders exercises to help improve your skills. \nOn Saturday we will focus on the obstacles. We’ll have riders practice their skills on each obstacle and then ride a few short practice courses in the afternoon. \nOn Sunday you will put everything together for a fun schooling show to test out your new skills. No pressure here – you can get as much or as little coaching assistance as you want to get you through the phases. Karen and Mike will walk the Ease of Handling course with participants and provide strategy and guidedance.\nSpace is limited. Pre-registration is required. $450 includes a dry stall for the clinic.
