DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss out on the 2022 Fall Working Equitation Licenced Shows at the Sunrise Ranch. For this weekend we are flying in the world-renowned W.E. judge Rebecca Algar originally from Australia\, now head trainer at El Lobo Ranch at Ocala\, Florida. \nRebecca Algar has been active in Working Equitation since its debut in the United States nearly ten years ago and has risen to the top in this sport as both a comparator and judge. \nPlease scroll to the bottom of this post for her fascinating full bio! It is an honor to have an equestrian of this expertise and experience come judge our fall WE shows and instruct on the Friday prior! \nPlease note\, the 2022 Sunrise Ranch Fall Working Equitation shows are two full separate events\, one on Saturday\, and one on Sunday. We offer this specifically for those wanting to make the most of the weekend and compete both days. \nBesides the standard Ease of Handling obstacle course\, Dressage test\, and Speed Challenge\, we will be offering the Cattle Trial each day. Here at the Sunrise Ranch\, we are proud of our Scottish Highland herd and enthusiastic to be supporting the skill of working cows from horseback by offering this part of Working Equitation at our shows. \nAside from some really unique awards for each level\, we are donating one magnificent Long-horned scull art piece to the horse and rider team showing the highest level of excellence in partnership as evaluated by the judge from both days’ competition! It can be ridden in English\, Dressage\, or Western equipment and is open to horses of any breed and type. DESCRIPTION:A FUN\, no pressure\, and relaxed way to get started & to practice! \nWorking Equitation (WE) is a new and growing horse sport that combines dressage and obstacles to develop the partnership between horse and rider. It can be ridden in English\, Dressage\, or Western equipment and is open to horses of any breed and type. It is something new\, a great cross training for riders from any discipline\, and IT IS FUN! \nExisting and new clients welcome\, riders brand new to the sport very welcome! Groups of up to six riders are scheduled by skill level/experience and to adhere to social distancing. Two 1.5 hour morning sessions will be offered on each date. Test you and your horse’s skill\, build trust and communication\, and have a quality\, positive\, and fun experience riding in our beautiful regulation Working Equitation course. New & upgraded obstacles including our baby jump bank & water obstacle! \nDirected by Stacy Sutton\, Cost: $70. per rider/horse. 8am and 10 am sessions.
