DESCRIPTION:Working Equitation Clinic – March 13\, 2023 \nJoin us for a great learning opportunity at the Oregon Horse Center’s Prairie Arena on the Monday following our March WE show! \nWe’ll have two fabulous clinicians: USAWE Judge Erica Peet and her husband Howard Peet. Both of them are serious WE competitors and trainers\, and they recently returned from attending a Master Class taught by WE guru Pedro Torres! Erica will be our judge in March\, and Howard will be participating in the show\, so they should have plenty of insights from the competition to bring to the lessons. \nCost: $125 for people who participated in the show (includes an extension of your stabling from the weekend);  $150 for people who are coming just for the clinic (includes stabling on Monday); $25 Auditors \nEach rider will have the chance to participate in a 2-hour group lesson on the obstacles and a 20-minute private session on dressage fundamentals. DESCRIPTION:Announcing a three-day Working Equitation camp at Tryon International Equestrian Center (Mill Spring\, NC).  \nParticipants will receive a Dressage and an Ease of Handing lesson each day (Fri/Sat) and will execute judged Ride-A-Tests on Sunday with feedback.  \nThis is all happening in the comfort of the indoor arena at TIEC.  \nAll of the riding camp spots have been reserved but if you are interested in being added to the “waitlist” please contact Pat Melton\, the event coordinator at pmelton1982@gmail.com or 704-616-9589.  \nAuditors are welcome and encouraged and auditor tickets are available for $25/day or $60/weekend\, sold in advance.

Please plan to arrive no earlier than 1 pm on Friday (honestly — NO EARLIER — if you arrive prior to 1 pm on Friday\, please plan to pay a ‘haul in fee’ to OHC and amuse yourself in the main facility rather than coming to the Prairie Arena). Additional bags of shavings can be purchased on site for $10/bag. \n\n\nTack Stall: $100 \n(OHC Boarders who do not need stabling can request a $100 discount because they don’t need a stall) \nPLEASE DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE SHAVINGS IN — we are charged an extra $35 per stall if any outside shavings are used. \nCamping is available on site — please make reservations directly with the Oregon Horse Center if you are planning to camp (we do not handle the camping spot reservations at all). \nTo compete\, riders must be current members of USAWE\, and all horses must be recorded with USAWE.
