DESCRIPTION:The Cross-National WE Camp and Cup is an amazing learning opportunity with instructors from all over the world volunteering their time to provide instruction. Coaching and classes will be provided at all levels in a fun summer camp environment followed by a three-day unlicensed competition. The competition will not be licensed so that people borrowing horses can enter and compete at the most appropriate level for the horse they are borrowing\, even if the horse’s owner is also competing at that level.  \nCamp is from 7/9 – 7/14\, the Cup will be from 7/15-7/17. DESCRIPTION:These competitions are licensed by USA Working Equitation (#22-002) and are part of the 2022 Great Lakes Area Buckle Series! \nEntry Fee: $275 to participate in one show; $375 to participate in both shows. This covers your stall\, your entry fee\, and lunch for one on each day you are signed up to participate. (meals will be available for purchase for family/friends as well). \nTack Stall: $100 \nJust-for-fun Leadline modified Ease of Handling: $10 (for young horses and/or riders not yet ready to ride on their own). \nEntry fees include stabling from Friday\, 3 pm through Sunday\, end of show. (honestly — NO EARLIER — if you arrive prior to 3 pm on Friday\, we need to make special arrangements to let you in\, and an additional charge might need to be added). \nA limited number of camping spots with electrical hookups are available on site for an additional charge of $30/day\, and there is plenty of room for “dry camping” without electricity. \nTo compete\, riders must be current members of USAWE\, and all horses must be recorded with USAWE. DESCRIPTION:Working Equitation clinic with “r” Judge and certified Technical Delegate Lidia Taylor.\nCome learn all about this fun and fast-growing sport. No prior experience is required. Riders and horses or all levels and all disciplines (English and Western) are welcome. Gaited horses are welcome. ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR HELMETS.\n \nWe will be taking 9 riders and unlimited auditors.\nRider Fee $250 (includes the arena fee) Auditor Fee $25.\nDaily Schedule:\n8:30AM check in\, sign releases and other housekeeping\n9 – 10:30AM lecture and Q&A\n10:30 – 10:45 – tack up time for the first group\n10:45 – 12:15 – Group #1\n12:15-1PM – Lunch\n1-2:30PM – Group #2\n2:30 – 4PM Group #3\n \nSaturday- Learning about WE and obstacles with time to practice them.\n \nFor Sunday\, we can do a brief dressage overview unmounted\, go over the basic geometry and movements\, followed by a Ride-Review-Ride format working with riders one-on-one or general group format depending on what the group wants to do.\n \nIf you would like to reserve a spot\, please contact Brandie Gean at: morgunr@gmail.com\nRider spots will be reserved by paying a $100 non-refundable deposit via Paypal\, Venmo\, or check.
