DESCRIPTION:Come learn about the sport of Working Equitation from a licensed judge and technical delegate Lidia Taylor. Saturday will open with an introductory lecture with a Q&A session\, followed by small group lessons over obstacles\, and a lecture on WE dressage tests during the lunch break. Sunday morning will start with a group session riding through dressage tests followed by a Working Equitation Schooling Show – so you can put your newly learned skills to the test! Schooling Show will be conducted under the USA Working Equitation Rulebook (can be found on USAWE.org) . \nClinic will be on Saturday; schooling show on Sunday. \nRiders of all disciplines and styles are welcome\, horses of all breeds are welcome\, including gaited horses and mules. DESCRIPTION:The Cross-National WE Camp and Cup is an amazing learning opportunity with instructors from all over the world volunteering their time to provide instruction. Coaching and classes will be provided at all levels in a fun summer camp environment followed by a three-day unlicensed competition. The competition will not be licensed so that people borrowing horses can enter and compete at the most appropriate level for the horse they are borrowing\, even if the horse’s owner is also competing at that level.  \nCamp is from 7/9 – 7/14\, the Cup will be from 7/15-7/17. DESCRIPTION:These competitions are licensed by USA Working Equitation (#22-002) and are part of the 2022 Great Lakes Area Buckle Series! \nEntry Fee: $275 to participate in one show; $375 to participate in both shows. This covers your stall\, your entry fee\, and lunch for one on each day you are signed up to participate. (meals will be available for purchase for family/friends as well). \nTack Stall: $100 \nJust-for-fun Leadline modified Ease of Handling: $10 (for young horses and/or riders not yet ready to ride on their own). \nEntry fees include stabling from Friday\, 3 pm through Sunday\, end of show. (honestly — NO EARLIER — if you arrive prior to 3 pm on Friday\, we need to make special arrangements to let you in\, and an additional charge might need to be added). \nA limited number of camping spots with electrical hookups are available on site for an additional charge of $30/day\, and there is plenty of room for “dry camping” without electricity. \nTo compete\, riders must be current members of USAWE\, and all horses must be recorded with USAWE. DESCRIPTION:A FUN\, no pressure\, and relaxed way to get started & to practice! \nWorking Equitation (WE) is a new and growing horse sport that combines dressage and obstacles to develop the partnership between horse and rider. It can be ridden in English\, Dressage\, or Western equipment and is open to horses of any breed and type. It is something new\, a great cross training for riders from any discipline\, and IT IS FUN! \nExisting and new clients welcome\, riders brand new to the sport very welcome! Groups of up to six riders are scheduled by skill level/experience and to adhere to social distancing. Two 1.5 hour morning sessions will be offered on each date. Test you and your horse’s skill\, build trust and communication\, and have a quality\, positive\, and fun experience riding in our beautiful regulation Working Equitation course. New & upgraded obstacles including our baby jump bank & water obstacle! \nDirected by Stacy Sutton\, Cost: $70. per rider/horse. 8am and 10 am sessions.
