The veterinarian reserves the right to take temperatures and might request that you lunge the horse on a circle to confirm soundness. \nAWARDS CEREMONY – in show clothes\, with horses for photos\, please. Regional Championships are a BIG DEAL! \nAWARDS\nChampionship – neck sashes for overall placings\, Champion – 6th place in each level and division. \nA-Rated Show – rosettes 1st – 5th for overall placings in each level and division. \nLevels Offered:\nIntroductory – Masters \nDivisions Offered:\nJunior\, Amateur\, Open \nTwo “Best Turned-Out Horse/Rider” awards will be selected by the two judges: one for English and the other for Western riders. The winner of the English award will receive a beautiful Dressage-style English Show Pad. The winner of the Western award will receive a beautiful Western Show Pad. \nAdditional physical prizes (embroidered items\, prize baskets\, hand-crafted pottery\, etc.) are currently being identified and will be added to this description by September 1. \nEntry Fees – CHAMPIONSHIP Classes: $500 – Includes your stall (available from Friday – Monday\, same cost) and entry fee\nEntry Fees – Non-Championship Classes: $300 – Includes stall (available from Friday – Monday\, same cost) and entry fee\nIf you are sharing a horse with another rider\, you can deduct $100 from one of the horse’s entry fees (because the stall doesn’t need to be paid twice)\nExtra Stall(s): Available for $100\n(Discount of $50 for those driving 500 or more miles one way to attend. HHP staff will be available on Friday-Sunday during office hours to take bedding orders in addition to pre-orders.  \nTo compete in a Regional Championship\, Horse/Rider pair must have earned an average of 58% or higher combined Dressage and EOH score\, without disqualifying in Speed (Novice A and above) at a USAWE licensed competition held in Region 5 in the 2019-2021 Competition Year(s). DESCRIPTION:This will be a Working Equitation competition\, licensed by USA Working Equitation. \nEntry Fee: $250 to participate. \nTack Stall: $100 \n(OHC Boarders who do not need stabling can request a $100 discount because they don’t need a stall) \nJust-for-fun Leadline modified Ease of Handling: $10 \nEntry fees include first bag of shavings\, and stabling from Friday\, 1 pm (honestly — NO EARLIER — if you arrive prior to 1 pm on Friday\, please plan to pay a ‘haul in fee’ to OHC and amuse yourself in the main facility rather than coming to the Prairie Arena). Additional bags of shavings can be purchased on site for $10/bag. \nPLEASE DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE SHAVINGS IN — we are charged an extra $35 per stall if any outside shavings are used. \nCamping is available on site — please make reservations directly with the Oregon Horse Center if you are planning to camp (we do not handle the camping spot reservations at all). \nJudge: Cari Schwartz\, R\, Oregon \nIMPORTANT NOTE:\nFull refunds if you are unable to attend due to a true medical emergency (COVID exposure\, sickness\, medically unsound to ride).
