Additional bags of shavings can be purchased on site for $10/bag. \nSaturday Evening Just-For-Fun Halloween Costume Musical Freestyle: $25\nA WE Oregon October tradition… people can compete solo or in teams. Each “entry” will have 3 minutes to showcase their moves and creativity in a costume musical freestyle. The rides will be judged holistically for their creativity\, artistic impression\, and quality of the movements. \nTack Stall: $100 \n(OHC Boarders who do not need stabling can request a $100 discount because they don’t need a stall) \nPLEASE DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE SHAVINGS IN — we are charged an extra $35 per stall if any outside shavings are used. \nCamping is available on site — please make reservations directly with the Oregon Horse Center if you are planning to camp (we do not handle the camping spot reservations at all). \nTo compete\, riders must be current members of USAWE\, and all horses must be recorded with USAWE. This clinic is best if you: \n\nWant to take your first steps into the WE ring\nNeed to gain confidence in the saddle.\nWant to switch up your horse’s routine to keep things fun.\nAre looking to have serious improvements in your riding.\n\nFrederico Bernardino is a rider and trainer from Portugal who grew up working side by side with working equitation champions as well as classical dressage legends like the Valenca family. During the past two years\, he did tests in dressage and in WE in Portugal while working for World and European Champion David Oliveira and his brother European and Portuguese Champion and Reserve Portguguese Champion (respectively) Diogo Oliveira. \nHis goal is to help riders in his clinics understand WE through the original Portuguese aspect and for riders to have fun while doing it.

DESCRIPTION:A FUN\, no pressure\, and relaxed way to get started & to practice! \nWorking Equitation (WE) is a new and growing horse sport that combines dressage and obstacles to develop the partnership between horse and rider. It can be ridden in English\, Dressage\, or Western equipment and is open to horses of any breed and type. It is something new\, a great cross training for riders from any discipline\, and IT IS FUN! \nExisting and new clients welcome\, riders brand new to the sport very welcome! Groups of up to six riders are scheduled by skill level/experience and to adhere to social distancing. Two 1.5 hour morning sessions will be offered on each date. Test you and your horse’s skill\, build trust and communication\, and have a quality\, positive\, and fun experience riding in our beautiful regulation Working Equitation course. New & upgraded obstacles including our baby jump bank & water obstacle! \nDirected by Stacy Sutton\, Cost: $70. per rider/horse. 8am and 10 am sessions.
