Additional bags of shavings can be purchased on site for $10/bag. \nSaturday Evening Just-For-Fun Halloween Costume Musical Freestyle: $25\nA WE Oregon October tradition… people can compete solo or in teams. Each “entry” will have 3 minutes to showcase their moves and creativity in a costume musical freestyle. The rides will be judged holistically for their creativity\, artistic impression\, and quality of the movements. \nTack Stall: $100 \n(OHC Boarders who do not need stabling can request a $100 discount because they don’t need a stall) \nPLEASE DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE SHAVINGS IN — we are charged an extra $35 per stall if any outside shavings are used. \nCamping is available on site — please make reservations directly with the Oregon Horse Center if you are planning to camp (we do not handle the camping spot reservations at all). \nTo compete\, riders must be current members of USAWE\, and all horses must be recorded with USAWE. DESCRIPTION:Working Equitation (WE) is a fun and exciting way to improve your riding tact\, geometry\, fluidity of transitions\, contact\, suppleness\, connection to the horse\, and your horse’s confidence. \nAlmost anyone can participate in this clinic on any type of horse and in any kind of tack. This clinic is best if you: \n\nWant to take your first steps into the WE ring\nNeed to gain confidence in the saddle.\nWant to switch up your horse’s routine to keep things fun.\nAre looking to have serious improvements in your riding.\n\nFrederico Bernardino is a rider and trainer from Portugal who grew up working side by side with working equitation champions as well as classical dressage legends like the Valenca family. During the past two years\, he did tests in dressage and in WE in Portugal while working for World and European Champion David Oliveira and his brother European and Portuguese Champion and Reserve Portguguese Champion (respectively) Diogo Oliveira. \nHis goal is to help riders in his clinics understand WE through the original Portuguese aspect and for riders to have fun while doing it.
